https://youtu.be/rhfWx3dnIFI From the Winner of the 2018 Blade Show "Best New Knife maker of the Year Award"! Congrats to Ed Cope, what an honor and his work speaks for itself. His knives are highly sought after and after this award they will be very hard to get. This SR.33 piece is a beautiful display of form and function.åÊ Ed Cope hails from the great state of Hawaii. He is a former Army Serviceman who has collaborated with another Hawaiian and knife legend Tom Mayo. So it is safe to say Ed has picked up a few things (notice the milled hole pattern?). The SR.33 is not meant to be flicked open with the thumb hole, it runs on bearings so it is meant to be slide open like an old school folder back before flippers and bearings were all the rage. The milled hole pattern in the handle is a trademark of his Ed's Mentor Tom Mayo and the ergonomics of the handle make it a joy to use and hold. This piece is beautiful and meant to be used. A worthy Blade Show knife and its no wonder he won Best new Knife Maker this year.
