Knifemaker's Guild and won the Berretta award for "Excellence in Craftsmanship," Mr. Carter is highly regarded in the knife industry as an expert. His knives are elegant in design, state of the art in materials and construction, and built to last a lifetime. As a longtime Harley-Davidson
enthusiast, logging over 100,000 miles on his 1990 FXR Low Rider, he has found the heart of Harley-Davidson in these designs. The Legend Collection features precise channeled liner lock mechanisms and lightweight aluminum handles inlaid with classic H-D shields.
The 440 stainless steel blades feature full heat treatment, plus CRYOEDGE, a cryogenic tempering process at -300 degree F for a longer lasting edge. The blades also feature precision laser marked logos and built-on thumbstuds for easy one-handed opening.
Each knife includes a pivot screw wrench used to adjust the blade to your desired tension. The handles are made of 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum with an anodized finish and polished flame design.
Flaming Legend comes with a holster-quality sheath made of genuine black leather with a quick-release snap, an antique silver plated concho, and suede tassel.
Flaming Legends II & III come with a stainless steel pocket clip with a bead blasted finish.

- Designed by custom knifemaker, Fred Carter, an avid Harley-Davidson, enthusiast, this new high tech folder is not only beautiful, but is also made in the USA using the most advanced engineering and materials in the world. The Velocity features the new patent pending Accelerator,
an innovative open-assist mechanism. While opening the blade, using the ambidextrous thumbstud, partially push the blade out and the Accelerator takes over and swiftly opens the blade to its full, locked position for you. The handle parts are precisely engineered CNC machined aluminum.
The laser-etched, 440 stainless steel blade features CryoEdge, a cryogenic tempering process at -300F. This treatment achieves a longer edge retention. Each knife is presented in an aluminum storage case. Closed Length: 4-3/8". Blade Length: 3-1/4". Blade Thickness: 1/8". Blade Material:
